You're invited to attend the Luminary Craft exhibition reception

The Luminary Craft exhibition is a showcase by pioneers of their craft in lighting design, 2D art, music and video. The Cloud Room of Wedge Foundation features artisanal furniture by local craftspeople that is illuminated by premiere porcelain lighting by The Bright Angle. Under the ambient light a meticulously curated group of national artists with strong ties to the Blue Ridge Mountains have selected 2D works that reflect the value of quality in precision craftsmanship. Each artist deconstructs geometry and color through innovative craft processes.

The Wedge Cloud Room space will be activated on August 27th with a reception featuring virtuous internationally renowned steel pan musician Jonathan Scales. Jonathan will share his mathematical approach to rhythm and melody paired with his mastery of his instrument in an engaging performance. Local videographers Matt Wegleitner and Micah Yaple will premiere their first video performance as Aerial Asheville. This summit of design and craftsmanship will showcase artists pushing the envelope of contemporary experimental sensory experience in this intimate and festive evening.
